Pick something new. Not your old password with a “1” added at the end. Honestly, a short sentence that only you would think of works better than a random-looking word you will forget again next week.
If the email does not show up, wait a few minutes and look in spam, promotions, and any filtered folders. Requesting five links in a row usually just makes things confusing, since only the newest one tends to work.
Forgot your username instead?
This happens a lot, especially with old accounts from years ago. On the same “Forgot Password or Username?” screen, pick the username option and enter your email. Roblox will send a list of usernames linked to that email address.
Here’s the catch. If you made several accounts with the same email, you will see all of them. Look for the one you remember playing on, then reset the password for that one if needed.
What to do if you lost access to your email
This is where it gets slower. If your email account is gone, closed, or you just can’t remember its password either, Roblox cannot send you a reset link that you can open.
Try these steps in order:
- Recover the email first. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and others have their own recovery pages. Getting the email back is often faster than anything else.
- Try your phone number. If you ever added a phone number to Roblox, the reset code can go there instead.
- Contact Roblox Support. If both are lost, go to roblox.com/support and fill in the form. Explain what happened in plain words.
